- Preheat oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the homemade biscuit mix, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Add the milk and stir just until a soft dough forms.
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead 3 to 4 times.
- Pat dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut into biscuits.
- Place biscuits on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with melted butter.
- Sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar if desired.
- Bake at 450°F for 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Serve warm.

Do not overwork the dough or the biscuits will be dense.
