- Add all dry ingredients to a pint-size jar with an airtight lid.
- Shake well or sift together until evenly combined.
- To make gravy, melt 2 tablespoons butter, lard, or pan drippings in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk in 2 tablespoons of the brown gravy mix.
- Slowly whisk in 1 cup beef broth or water.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring often, until thickened.
Notes
This mix replaces one store-bought gravy packet. Use in meatloaf, mashed potatoes, roast beef, or any recipe calling for brown gravy.
